Beechwood Playscheme offers a safe, supervised play environment for children aged between 6 and 14.
Our scheme provides a host of activities both physical and creative.
During school term we are open Tuesday to Friday 3.30 till 7.00 and Saturdays 10.00 till 12.00 then 1.30 till 3.30
During school holidays we are open Monday to Friday 10.00 till 12.30 then 1.30 till 3.30

Our play team are always happy to discuss your child’s needs and answer any inquiries you may have regarding the scheme.
All staff hold Enhanced DBS certification and current paediatric first aid qualifications.

Paddy Mulligan
Senior Playworker
He has hosted workshops on the benefits of children’s play at local, national and international conferences.
He holds an NVQ level III in playwork and has been managing the playscheme at beechwood for over 16 years.
Jennie Ashton
Playworker
Formally trained as a dancer, Jennie used to run her own company providing after school clubs She holds a n NVQ level III in Playwork and has been at Beechwood for 15 years.
John Quinlan
Playworker
John is our longest serving member of staff with over 30 years of experience, most of that time spent here on the Beechwood. His ability to engage children in play activities is unparalleled.
